Opt out of sale for California residents

Our Privacy Policy describes the personal information that Audience Town uses to provide you with tailored advertising. When advertising involves the sale of your personal information under the CCPA, you receive ads and offers that are more likely to be useful to you.

Opting out of the sale of your personal information will also opt out of tailored advertising. Opting out will limit the personal information that Audience Town collects about you, and how we use that personal information. We will still use your personal information to serve you ads without the sale of any of your personal information under the CCPA. We will not target ads that are based on your interests to your browsers or devices.

Directions for opting out of sale

You can opt out of Audience Town’s sale of your personal information under the CCPA, by taking the following three steps:

1. If using a browser that is not already opted out, opt out of tailored advertising by visiting this website and follow the directions under “Directions for opting out of sale”.  
2. If using a mobile device that is not already opted out, opt out of tailored advertising in the mobile application environment using the “AppChoices” mobile application, where applicable, which you can download to your mobile device from the App Store or via the DAA AppChoices page here.
3. Send us an email at privacy@audiencetown.com. In your email you should indicate your wish to exercise your CCPA right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information, as well as provide us with the content of your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie or with your mobile device’s mobile advertising identifier. Instructions outlining how to find your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie for some common browsers can be found here. Providing a pseudonymous identifier will allow us to process your request to opt out of the sale of your personal information.

If you use multiple browsers or devices and do not wish for Audience Town to sell your personal information associated with any of them, you must follow the instructions above for each browser and device individually.

Chrome browser

How to locate your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie on Google Chrome:

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the menu icon in the upper right corner and select ‘Settings’.
3. Scroll down to the “Privacy and Security” section.
4. Select “Cookies and other site data”.
5. Select ‘See all cookies and site data”.
6. Locate (or search in search bar) then click the mathtag.com tab.
7. Click “uuid”, copy the identifier in the “content” section.

Firefox browser

How to locate your browser’s mathtag.com uuid cookie on Mozilla Firefox:

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click the menu icon in the upper right corner and select ‘Web Developer’.
3. In the tab that appears, click ‘Storage Inspector’.
4. A toolbox should appear at the bottom of the browser window that will display your “Cookie ID”.
